Many may have heard the saying “it takes a village” well this painting represents mine. A creative depiction of the people who played a part in shaping who I am today. Each object in this still life holds great personal meaning to me. From the bells that used to hang on my grandmother’s front door or the baby shoes that my mother saved in a box in her basement. Each individual item an important part of my story.
